I'm not a lassi drinker but this surely helped and added to the entire experience of Jaisalmer .

The Winds Veg Restaurant honestly has been the best food I have had so far in travelling around Rajasthan! ๐จ๐พโ๐ณChef Pravin Kumar is an absolutely fantastic chef who catered to our needs very much! The Veg Kofta & Veg Fried Rice was really yummy and Chef understood our need for no/low spice.We also had yummy salad, Fresh and clean.
The chapati were freshly made as needed which was ๐๐ผ perfect!!!
This is a must place to stop by, yummy food and clean amenities ๐ซถ๐ผโ

Excellent Authentic Rajasthani Food with peaceful ambience. Special Thanks to Mr Pravin who was kind enough to cook customised food for us. It has very homely vibe. We had Dalbati Churma Thali along with Haldi ki sabzi, Sev tamatar ki sabzi, Kher Sangri, khichdi and Kadhi. Everything was very tasty especially Dalbati Churma, Kadhi and Lasun ki chatni. Special thanks to Mr Pravin for his hospitality. Must visit this place.

First and foremost, this is a clean and hygienic restaurant, which was refreshing after visiting so many others around the city. Itโs an excellent choice for families with kidsโthe staff even prepared kid-friendly vegetables, which the children absolutely loved. Chef Praveenโs haldi ki subzi was especially impressive, offering a unique and delicious flavor worth trying. The service was quick, and the staff were extremely accommodating.

Had a wonderful dinner here, the food was delicious, perfectly spiced, and full of real Rajasthani flavours. Every dish was cooked beautifully and served fresh.

This place serves the best kaju curry Iโve ever had! The curry is rich and packed with flavor, with perfectly cooked cashews that add a unique, satisfying texture. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, and the spices are beautifully balanced.The taste is authentic.
The whole menu offers a great variety of dishes, but the kaju curry truly stands out. The staff is warm good. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic, delicious food!

Very friendly and helpful staff who speak English. I am travelling with a friend who had an accident - she cut her head on the car boot. The manager immediately drove us to the pharmacy down the road, where the cut was cleaned up and inspected. Luckily it was not a serious cut. Everyone was very kind and sympathetic. When we returned to the restaurant the service was excellent. Itโs a bright, clean, colourful place - a good place to stop.

My wife and I are visitors from Bangalore, Karnataka. We loved the pure veg lunch here with varieties of Rajasthani fare and made for the discerning tongue !

We had a wonderful experience here - tired of rich food 4 days into our trip in the glorious state of Rajasthan, we were craving simple, light fare. Owner Durg Singh himself took our customized order and ensured we were served items with less oil, spice, yet great taste. Bathrooms were also convenient. Thank you, The Winds Veg Restaurant and Durg Singh, for a memorable time!

Great food with local dishes, some of which we did not see elsewhere in Rajasthan. Fast and honest service. The owner/operator got our group of 19 fed for lunch and out quickly despite us ordering more food as we ate. He catered the spice level to our needs. He remembered one item did not come out and confirmed it with me while tallying the bill. Clean bathrooms. Highly recommend stopping here.

A nice highway restaurant!! Seems like a newly opened one. We had dal batti -churma and Paneer curry-roti. All had the authentic taste. Churma was the best of all. Though the batti had got dehydrated due to repeated heating, but were delish anyways. In this stretch of highway between Jaisalmer to Jodhpur, one may not find such good food joints.

Driving from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur with some Israeli friends on 22nd October 2021, stopped at this quant and Spartan eatery โฆ.. โThe Windsโฆ.โ. It is run very efficiently taking good care of hygiene , it was more than good value for money. Very passionate lot of local youngsters man the โWindsโ. Wish them great success โฆ..

We went there twice, when going to and leaving from Jaisalmer because we really liked the place.
The food was really tasteful, the restaurant and the washroom was clean and the staff especially the owner of the restaurant was very friendly and switched on.
I would definitely recommend and go back! ๐๐ผ

The service was prompt and courteous. The food was excellent. We had govinda gatta, butter roti, malai kofta, plain khichdi, and one meal thali. The taste was authentic and the food was fresh and piping hot. The sweet lassi was also great and comes in a huge glass. The bathrooms were neat and well maintained. Definitely recommend this place!

This was a very simple hotel on the road to jaisalmer, which provided delicious and scrumptious meals with authentic house grown bajra, guttey ki sabzi and many more that made our tummy and trip more wholesome :)

One gem of a place. Oasis amidst the highway stretch. Organic salads, healthy sandwiches, mouth watering pastas. One of the best highway joints i have visited which serves you food with love and passion. Authentic flavors of Rajasthan -Dal bati choorma. Kudos to the owner - Durgh Singh.

Probably the most hygienic place to dine with clean restrooms on the way to and fro jaisalmer. Good taste and great seating and staff. You can choose to sit indoors or in an outdoor Garden with a pleasant and warming sunshine. Must visit if your route crosses that road.

The service was excellent, the staff was attentive and knowledgeable.
The food was delicious, especially the smoked salmon. The flavors in each dish were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh.

Clean place enroute Jaisalmer! Very healthy and good food.
Visited again after more than a year. Cleanliness - still as clean as before , Food delicious, healthy and not greasy !
